Here’s a simple picture that’s stayed with me for years. It’s the quiet shift that points to living and serving from overflow, instead of empty.
That quiet weariness isn’t a sign your faith is small or that something’s wrong with you. It’s how we’re made. No one was built to keep pouring out without being filled back up. Pace of Grace is a place to let God do the filling, so what spills over can bless the people you serve.

A Glimpse Inside
The community moves at a steady rhythm. It’s a place to return to, not something to keep up with. Think of it as a trellis: a simple structure that quiet, beautiful things can grow on, over time.
Each month includes:
- Prayer & Planning with God — Bring your real life — your calendar, your decisions, your work — and plan with God, rather than plan and then ask Him to bless it.
- Growing Deeper in Grace — We explore one of the spiritual practices together — simple ways to slow down and become more present to the God who is always present to us.
- A monthly practice card — one doable practice that fits an ordinary Tuesday. Not one more thing to file away in your notes app.
- A quiet online community — come and go as your season allows. Active or quiet, you fully belong.
- Glimpses of Grace — a short Saturday email, so you never lose the thread between gatherings.

The Sacred Rhythms Book Study
From time to time, we move slowly through a book together. Right now, that’s Sacred Rhythms by Ruth Haley Barton — four weeks at a time, across three seasons of 2026, Wednesdays 12:00–12:45pm ET. One practice per week, with space for quiet reflection, shared listening, and gentle conversation.
This is not a fast-paced study or a checklist to complete.
These bonus studies come around a few times a year, depending on what we feel would serve the community. This is open to every member.

What do you believe?
- We affirm the existence of one God, as declared in Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 42:8, and James 2:19, who reveals Himself in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit, in accordance with Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14.
- We believe in the divine nature of Jesus Christ, His miraculous virgin birth, sinless humanity, His sacrificial death on our behalf, the atonement through His precious blood, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension into heaven.
- We hold the entire Bible as God’s infallible, timeless revelation to humanity, serving as our ultimate source of truth and guidance.
- Our faith is firmly grounded in the doctrine of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.
- We acknowledge the one true Church, the body of Christ, which includes all believers in Him.
- We anticipate the resurrection of the body, with eternal glory awaiting believers in the new heaven and new earth, as foretold in Isaiah 65:17, 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13, and Revelation 21:1. Conversely, we believe in the reality of everlasting punishment for those who reject faith in Christ.
- We emphasize the importance of obeying our Lord’s command to share the message of Christ with people of all nations and guide them in becoming more Christ-like.
- We eagerly await the personal return of Christ to establish His Kingdom on earth.
- We affirm the indwelling and empowering work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers, serving as a seal and a pledge of our inheritance in Christ Jesus.
- We uphold the biblical view of God’s creation of man and woman and recognize marriage as a sacred union between a man and a woman.
When I face more than I know how to carry — which is most days — I come back to the same prayer…
I can’t. He can. I think I’ll ask Him.
That’s the pace of the community.
